Wulverblade, Yono, and other Nindies will be available.
The Nintendo Switch has another packed release week, with 11 games, and one demo, set to be released within the next seven days, including a couple of indies recently highlighted in a Nindies Showcase.
After the release of Stardew Valley on Switch last week, Nintendo is continuing to roll out a number of highlighted Nindies. This week sees the debut of Yono and the Celestial Elephants and Wulverblade, both of which were spotlighted during the August Nintendo Switch Showcase. Check out the full slate of releases in the gallery below:
Eight of these games will be released today, while horror adaptation Don’t Knock Twice and HD remaster Rogue Trooper Redux both hit the Switch on October 17. Putty Pals will then debut on October 18 — and for more releases from this week, you can check out both Tiny Barbarian DX and Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle, both of which released on October 10.
A demo for the Zelda-inspired, isometric adventure game Oceanhorn is also out today.
The week isn’t quite as packed as one of the Switch’s biggest weeks a few weeks ago, but the sheer amount of games continues to indicate Nintendo’s support of growing the eShop throughout Switch’s first year.
Thanks to the abundance of announcements of Nindies, third-party games, which Nintendo has clearly been aiming to acquire, and more, the Switch’s library continues to expand. Of course, that means not every game may be a must-play for the week, but there are a variety of genres and art styles represented with this week’s lineup.
